NXC-100 Al: Pentagram’s Aluminum Design Awarded by Techworks.pl
“The cost is a pure bargain, with the lowest street price of PLN 22 (which is that of half decent thermal grease). This cooler has inherited all of the advantages of the higher orb models, and still it can be had for next to nothing. What more could you want? The design is much better than the original box (even for overclocking), with the value being similar. The user experience is incomparably better, and one to enjoy.”
In a cooler mega-test published in Komputer Świat Issue 15/2008, Pentagram Freezone NXC-100 Al P 7001 was unrivalled in the Price-to-Performance category.
The NXC-100 Al is the cheapest product in the elite group of cooling kits, but that does not affect its performance. In terms of cooling capacity, Pentagram is hard on the competitors’ heels. The summary reads: “In the Price-to-Performance category, Pentagram Freezone NXC-100 Al turned out to be the best. Although the CPU operating temperatures were slightly higher than with the test winner, the product is attractively priced. […] Installation is simple and convenient, similar to other Pentagram coolers tested.”
